Accessing the Power and Advancing the Kingdom
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people…” (1 Timothy 2:1)
“Talking to men for God is a great thing, but talking to God for men is greater still.” (E. M. Bounds)
Restoration Church’s Prayer ministry is about accessing the power of God through prayer to advance the kingdom of God.
Restoration’s Prayer Ministry consists of two components:
Restoration Intercessors
Restoration Intercessors commit to pray for Restoration Church, its pastors and ministries, and specific missionaries, ministries and prayer concerns on a regular basis. Each individual intercessor chooses their own time and place to pray. A monthly communication is sent out that targets specific prayer emphases.
Evenings of Prayer and Seasons of Prayer
About once a quarter Restoration Church hosts an evening of prayer, calling the church to come together to pray with unity and focus. These evenings of prayer include times of worship, guided prayer and group prayer. In addition, the church is called to observe seasons of prayer several times each year that emphasize specific times of ministry opportunity and kingdom advancement.
